Cambridge, MA (June 1, 2023) – Prism, a Cambridge-based AI-powered, knowledge-creation platform for biomedical research, proudly announces the addition of James Matsumura to its leadership team as the new Chief Technology Officer.

Since its founding in 2020, Prism (a proud member of Johnson and Johnson’s JLABS incubator) has been revolutionizing the analysis of complex, unstructured, and disparate biomedical datasets. Through its proprietary metascience engine, Prism is able to unify and automate the data science process. The appointment of James, an accomplished healthtech leader with a strong background in bioinformatics, underscores Prism's commitment to driving continuous technological evolution.

James joins Prism following a successful tenure at Dina, where he served as Staff Engineer and Lead Architect. His expansive experience and technical acumen will play a critical role in driving Prism's technological vision.
